At the gathering, residents are encouraged to bring towels and beach chairs in order to watch the sunset Friday. Leeds is coordinating a Laguna Clean Ocean Challenge, which is an initiative to prevent toxic runoff spilling into the ocean. The gathering on Main Beach is intended to celebrate that initiative, the publication said. "I am expanding my Earth Day celebration to give out heart worlds to everyone to share in my spreading hearts across Laguna," Leeds wrote in a Facebook post. "I will also be waving the white truce flag for a worldwide ceasefire and truce."
