EDINA, MN — Residents in one Edina neighborhood could be set for a few weeks of longer travel times, with a gas-main project to close a section of Blake Road, according to city officials.
Crews from CenterPoint Energy will start working Monday on a gas-main improvement project along Blake Road, forcing the city to close the road between Lake Ridge Road and Oak Bend Lane "for multiple weeks," officials said.
Drivers in the area will be detoured to Interlachen Boulevard or Vernon Avenue, while CenterPoint Energy will coordinate with local residents to ensure they have access to their homes during the closure, according to the city.
Residents who have questions about the closure should call TJ Haider at 612-321-5132, officials said.
