Hello again, Grand Rapids! Important update: You all, as readers, have made the Grand Rapids Daily so successful that it is my honor to announce the next stage of the newsletter. Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids: Kentwood, a city in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area, is hosting a Community Cleanup Day on May 7 to assist residents with their spring cleaning projects. The Kentwood Department of Public Works will be accepting yard waste, trash, and electronics recycling until 2:00 p.m. The city is requesting only Kentwood residents participate in the cleanup day and drop-off services. (WOODTV.com)Cause Camp will be held in Grand Rapids on May 2 and 3 at DeVos Place. The conference is for nonprofits from across the country to meet for half-day intensive workshops.
