Description
CARTERSVILLE, GA — If you're a major-league Atlanta Braves fan — and if you've always wanted to take a selfie with a World Series trophy — you'll have your opportunity in Cartersville in June.
That's when the iconic Commissioner's Trophy will make a stop at the Savoy Automobile Museum, according to the Braves' page on Major League Baseball's website.
The Cartersville stop is scheduled for June 9, 4-7 p.m. It's one of 151 stops planned as part of the Braves' World Champion Trophy Tour. The tour began in February and will also stop nearby in Ringgold, Chattanooga, Calhoun and Ellijay.
The Braves won their fourth World Series title in franchise history last November over the Houston Astros. The team's last title before that was in 1995 over the team now known as the Cleveland Guardians.
Details of the June 9 event will be announced soon on the Savoy Automobile Museum's website.
