PRESS RELEASE: FOR ☦️ ORTHODOX EASTER... hope you can join us... PRESS RELEASE: Did you know that 74% of the Ukraine are Orthodox Christians? All citizens in Greater Columbus are invited to join St Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, to celebrate with 350 MILLION Orthodox Christians around the world, the Holy Pascha/Easter of the Lord's Resurrection on Sunday 24 April at 4:00PM. Our congregation follows the formula of the Undivided Early Church and the First Ecumenical Council of Nicea in 325AD which determined that the Holy Pascha or "Passover of the Lord" MUST be the first Sunday after the Vernal Equinox and FOLLOWING the Passover of the Jews...to follow the Biblical narratives. The Divine Liturgy will be held in the Sanctuary of Holy Resurrection Melkite Greek Catholic Church located at 4611 Glenmawr Avenue, near the intersection of Morse Road and I-71. Join us in receiving the Immaculate Body and Precious Blood of Our Lord with Community Prayer for our Brethren and for Peace in the Ukraine and an end of the war! We are expecting participation from local Ukrainian Cultural groups and personal messages to share from Governor DeWine, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States AND from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinskyy! The services will begin at 4:00PM and refreshments with a Ukrainian cake will be served afterwards. For directions or for more information please contact us by email. www OCA-UAOC.org
