Listen to Oceansize’s discography and get back to me. Specifically, Everyone into Position, Frames, and Self Preserved. When Oceansize broke up, they left a gaping hole in the musical culture, one that has yet to be filled. We will fill this hole, but as a three piece, and with songs that don’t go over five minutes. I play guitar and sing. If you play bass and sing, or play drums and sing, right on. Three piece harmonies are sexy. We won’t make money, and we won’t be famous, but via our shows we will honeydick every hot music nerd in Madison and make them fall in love and create a new generation of 20-something sad boys more able to appreciate the genius that is oceansize.
