It is reasonable to conclude that the underlying Republican stance is that black lives don't matter. Here are some common Republican responses to BLM: BLM are terrorists! ALL lives matter! If black lives matter, why don't they care about black people getting killed other black people?! Blue lives matter! If black people would listen to the police, they wouldn't get shot! Those are just the Republican responses that I can think of off the top of my head. This, combined with the GOP's embrace of alt-right groups, is the reason it is viewed as the party of racism. The 21st century Republican party is NOT the party of Lincoln.
