Shipping and Receiving FULL-TIME $20/hr 7130 Miramar Rd, San Diego, CA 92121 The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The shipping and receiving clerk will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment. Duties include: - Reading shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed. - Ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documents, gathering and maintaining all data relative to shipping activities. - Collecting all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit. - Picking orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. - Scheduling inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. - Contacting carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. - Operating equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and more safely and efficiently. - Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work environment. - Keeping an equipment checklist and performing preventative maintenance of equipment. Schedule - Shift start: 6:30AM - Shift length: 10 hours - Days: Monday - Friday, some weekends and evenings required Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - 401k Requirements - At least 1 year of warehouse experience - At least 1 year of operating a forklift - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About M S International, Inc.
