Johnstone Supply is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Mesa and Phoenix. This position reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for the general warehouse duties of receiving, loading, unloading, driving a Forklift, making deliveries to various companies and branches. CDL Class B license is helpful but not required. You would be driving an 18’ flatbed or smaller pickup on the deliveries. This is a full-time position. Office hours are Mon-Fri 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-12pm Who should apply: Someone with prior warehouse experience – ideally at least 1 year+ A person who thrives working in a fast paced environment and works well as part of a Team Someone with a great attitude and good customer service skills What you will doing: Pull/pick orders, load/unload Trucks, driving a Forklift, and delivering HVAC Equipment and Supplies. Receiving incoming product to verify accuracy as well as noting and reporting any discrepancies or damage Staging material for pickup or delivery by company truck Maintaining the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner Performing other duties and responsibilities as required Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy products at least 50lbs Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouching Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision The employee will be required to work both inside and outside in extremes of cold, heat and humidity, depending on the season and location Candidate offered the job will be required to pass a background screening What’s in It for You: Starting pay of $17-$19 per hour depending on experience with opportunity for growth within the Company Medical – Dental – Vision – 100% paid for employee by the Company Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401(k) Traditional available Paid Time Off.
