Description
Good Afternoon! Recently, I have been planning and starting a new rescue in the CLE area. However, in order to become a 501(c)3, Ohio requires that I have at least three board members. I am looking for people who want to help push the idea further and help reduce the number of euthanized animals. Below is more information about our planned mission statement and if you are interested in becoming a board member, please reach out for an application. Every board member gets to put their thoughts and ideas into the group before finalizing everything.
Coming Back Home Rescue
Our mission at Coming Back Home Rescue is primarily to reduce the number of animals being euthanized. It's such a common occurrence and there is a great number of animals who are capable of living healthy, wonderful lives. With each animal that comes into our rescue, we want to be the stepping stone to protecting and enhancing their lives. As we grow, we also want to be able to help reduce the number of strays roaming the streets by helping and rehabilitating them to be able to go into loving homes.
We, as a group, want to work without community in providing the best possible care for out rescues. We have chosen to do primarily foster-based to reduce kennel stress which causes dogs to show unusual aggressive behaviors, resource guarding, and severe anxiety making them harder to adopt. Felines also become victims of kennel stress, especially in loud environments.
Coming Back Home Rescue will be handling dogs, cats, ferrets, and other small animals. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
