Experienced allround drummer seeks musicians

Norwegian musician/drummer/percussionist 53years, moving to Los Angeles in august to become a student again at CSUN. I have a background from marching bands, symphony and wind orchestra's, dancebands, traditional jazz, trad.rock, the Shadows-music, the repertoire of Elvis, Stray Cats, other old school-rock, latin-music, drum-orchestras, jazz-duo,trio, big band. I play sticks, brushes, mallets, i read sheet-music well. I've been teaching music for 35 years. I am a passionate listener of african rhythms and music, have a big passion for the music of the world, the great classical masters, the american masters like Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Fats Waller, Eubie Blake,Duke Ellington, James Brown, and so many more, the blues men and women of course. I am a clever listener when i am in a playing-situation, i can play quietly with stick and brushes or even hands/fingers, and i can play very loud when necessary. I'd like to connect with likeminded musicians when i move to Los Angeles i august. I hope we can find a fellow tone and spirit and make some good music togheter, share experience, and hopefully entertain, make people listen and even dance. I'd like to spend time on finding the keys to the the style we play, ask for guidance and share experience. Life is meaningful in this state of mind. I am done with the rioting, the partying, the chasing of women etc. Now i focus on quality, to serve my freinds, serving the music. I practice on my own, but need the fellowship with you to make the difference. I'm not a loud person, i believe in a power that is good. I hope to meet you.
