We are looking for a diligent Estimator to prepare accurate electrical estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of costs and benefits to our customers. The goal is to provide detailed estimates so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth. Experience: • Construction Estimating: 1 year (Preferred) • Estimating: 1 year (Preferred) • Electrical Experience: 3 years (Preferred) • Driver's License (Required) • Electrical License (Required) • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Skills/Qualifications: • Proven experience as an electrical estimator or similar position (Past electrician) • Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects • Familiarity with financial and project management principles • In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities • Thoroughness and reliability • Close attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills Responsibilities: • Understand the project/program and its requirements • Determine key variables for cost and other estimates • Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc. • Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors • Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions, etc.) • Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.) • Create and provide job specific lighting and gear submittal documentation to customers • Procuring electrical permits and ensuring inspections are completed Benefits: • Fuel Card • Company Cell Phone • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance (100%) for employee • 401(k) with Company Matching • Paid time off
