I do have material that's already been written and recorded just waiting to release. at first i would like for the new members to learn the already written material so that we can play shows. later on we can all sit down and write new material as a band. My playing and writing style is a long the lines of August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying and Erra. I would like for new members to be proficient with their instruments for those styles of music.Looking for a death metal drummer, and bassist in the area to join me creating a new original band.I am a 35 year old death metal vocalist and guitarist.Iv got a practice spot, small pa and lots of experience performing shows all over Michigan in my bands Fate of Misery and Six Seconds To Oblivion.Actively gigging ‘90s - 2000s cover band seeks a dedicated sound person to run our digital system at our live shows. Current club locations span from Port Huron to Down River with plenty in-between (Clinton Township, Sterling Heights, Warren, etc.). I don’t to want to work with any alcoholics, addicts or narcissistic people. I plan on booking Friday and Saturday nights and 1 or 2 practices a week. We are a group of older guys putting together a well spirited group. We are Guitarist,bass, drums, and lead vocalist. We play for the love of music, and not looking to get rich. We play, Classic rock, southern rock, Blues, oldies, and country. Looking to play out around a half dozen times a year. We practice on Sundays in the Grand Blanc area. Ability to play hymns. Piano/keyboard students welcome as long as you can generally read music from a hymnal and play it. If you have never played for people to sing, that's okay we can work with you. Experience is good, but not necessary. The pastor is a former music tutor and can help you become more advanced as time goes by. A small fee for services is available. At the moment the pastor must play the piano, lead the singing and preach. He is an old man and not getting any younger. With arthritis he is not getting any better, either!!
