Tidewater Direct is seeking a custodian to maintain its facility in Centreville, Maryland on the Eastern Shore, a 100,000 sq ft Print Manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate takes pride in his or her work, and takes ownership of this position and the facility. Duties include but are not limited to: -Cleaning lavatories -Cleaning cafeteria -Washing Floors -Cleaning the offices -Cleaning all aspects of the plant as directed -Cleaning ceilings and walls -Keeping the perimeter of the building clean inside and out -Watering Plants -ordering supplies -Filling vending machines -Performing basic maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting and recycling. - Assistance with Quality Assurance of the facility -Any other general facility maintenance or janitorial tasks as designated by the maintenance manager or plant manager Day Shift Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday List of job requirements. Necessary training will be provided, but the ideal candidate possesses: -knowledge that this is an extremely important position -Reliable Transportation -Positive Energy -A desire to succeed and advance -A willingness to work hard -Ability to follow directions and execute them properly the first time -Ability to understand new concepts and apply them quickly -Ability to complete tasks and follow direction.
