We need a Quality Control in Baltimore Warehouse!
Job description
Essential Functions -
• Tests products for temperature throughout production
• Visually inspects products at various stages of production
• Selects products for overall quality
• Visually inspects packages for proper expiration date, codes, seals, and gas mixture
• Test metal detectors by placing a metal "standard" on a selected piece of meat product and put through the detector to see if it gets rejected
• Verifies correct "net" weight
• Tests pickle solution and seasoning solution for salt, PH, and specific gravity
• Observes employees to ensure that they are following "HACCP" critical control points
• Records relevant information on food tags
• Reviews hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) records for critical control points as it relates to how the product is cooked
Additional Duties:
• Follow safe work process
• Can sit or stand
• Interacts with Supervisors regarding findings and recommendations
• Interacts with Employees with findings and observations
• May lift up to 20lbs
• Works in cold temperatures 37-40 degrees
• Use of both hands
1st shift pay - $14.00
2nd shift pay - $15.50
We require:
- Who can pass the criminal background check (no major crimes, no assault, no possession of weapons, violent crimes, robberies, no multiple misdemeanors and no active cases in the last 7 years)
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- You have to pass the drug test.
- Present VALID Documentation to work in the United States. We use E-Verify.
