Looking for reciprocal rescue scenario ❤️ Here’s the deal: My Am Staff x Choc Lab, Bear (in pics), passed away two yrs ago at 13 yr old from cancer. I had her since she was SIX weeks old - she was dumped next to the highway with her bros and sisters. She was my best friend and most amazing dog ever. I was so lucky. Even tho im still pretty broken-hearted, I really miss having a dog in my life and I think Bear would agree that I have a lot of time, space, experience and most importantly LOVE left to give another dog that really needs a good home. I’m not that picky about breed or looks or size or age (although not too old bc I can’t go thru loosing another dog again really soon). I have trained dogs (and believe only poz reinforcement) and I have time and space (live on 8 acres of private property with lots of room to run and play) I treat my dogs better than anything or anyone…they always come first. PLS READ - I do have one deal breaker - that’s NO aggression towards other dogs or people. Period. Sorry, I wish I could because I have no problem supporting a dog working this out and have with other dogs. Unfortunately, right now, I am helping to take care of my mother who is tiny and elderly and loves dogs also. I want her to be able to be part of the dogs life too and that includes being able to take the dog on her daily walks at Look or Child’s park or to Dunking Donuts in Haydenville where she can let them swim in the stream in summer…but I need to be as sure as humanly possible it be a pleasant and SAFE time for both of them. Other than that, I can work with a lot. Please if you have a dog you are trying to find a fabulous home for or know someone looking-can you PLEASE give them my contact info? I would really appreciate it. I can also provide excellent references and owners would definitely be able to come visit before, durning and after if they wanted to keep in touch.
