ePosterBoards is looking for experienced A/V-trained stagehands for upcoming events in the Worcester area. The hourly rate is $25 with a minimum of two hours paid. Candidates who are mechanically inclined and tech-savvy are preferred. Event Set Up: Wednesday, April 27 at 10:30am Break Down: Wednesday, April 27 at 5:15pm As an experienced A/V-trained stagehand you would be responsible for: - Assisting the operations team with unloading equipment from trucks using lift gate or loading dock at event venue - Transporting equipment in road cases on wheels from loading area to event space - Assembling equipment in event space (TV stand and base units, monitors, computers, and associated cables) - Assisting with connecting all of the A/V equipment - Assisting with taping down and securing/managing cables - Disassembling and load all of the equipment at end of event Job Requirements: - Able to lift 20-45 lb. of equipment at a time, comfortably, carefully, and safely, without hurting oneself. - Must have a modern cell phone and be responsive - Must dress presentably/professionally (our crew normally wears non-torn jeans and a black/dark t-shirt) If you meet the requirements and want to continue with this opportunity reply to this posting with your email address and an ePosterBoards representative will be in touch with you.
