Job Summary: We are looking for an individual to wash bulk totes and various types of equipment with heated high-pressure power washers. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to move into the dock or plant operations. The operation takes place inside a heated and well-ventilated area designated for the washing activity. Maintaining area cleanliness and drainage systems is key. No experience needed. The company provides all necessary safety equipment, PPE’s and on the job training. Work Schedule: • Current shift hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. Monday thru Friday. • Plant hours of operation are 5am to 5pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform all tasks in a safe manner in compliance with safety programs and procedures. • Continually mount and dismount powered equipment used in the area. • Requires sure footing and balance due to the potential of a slick environment. • Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain cleanliness of equipment. • Able to safely handle and apply mild cleaning / sanitization chemicals. • Must be able to pass the companies forklift certification. • Operate a forklift, skid loader, and miscellaneous equipment as needed to complete duties. • Maintain your work areas and facilities properly. • Situational awareness is a must do when working around heavy equipment and machinery (good vision and hearing) Compensation and Benefits: We offer a generous benefits package including: • 401(k) plan with company match • Health Insurance • Dental and Vision insurance available • Flexible Spending Accounts • Paid Vacation and Holidays Required Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED degree with related experience. • You must have reliable transportation to be available for your scheduled work hours. Physical Demands and Requirements: This job can be physically strenuous from time to time. You will be expected to work in tight and or confined spaces, walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more. This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders and work at varying heights from time to time. Majority of the shift is spent on one’s feet moving in and around the work area. Conditions reflect the current season in and around the plant. Must be comfortable with a drug screen and background check. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.45 to $18.50 /hour – Commensurate on Experience Experience: • Previous experience with operating forklifts and material handling equipment a plus. • Yard Truck/Trailer experience a plus.
