ABOUT WHO WE ARE SEEKING We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time, professional carpenter. Seeking someone who has a broad grasp of building science, and who can accomplish with a high level of skill or integrity the tasks involved in new construction or remodeling a house from framing to finish carpentry. Ideally searching for applicants with at least 5 years of experience. ABOUT US We are a Real Estate Investment and Property Management Company. We do some new construction, deckbuilding, fence building, landscaping, concrete work, etc. but we are mainly focused on (in order of workload) interior apartment remodels, exterior remodels of multi-family units, building repairs and upgrades, house-flips and additions. ABOUT THE POSITION If you’re looking for a job in construction where you get to do what you love- build and create, without the hassle of bidding for jobs, calculating estimates, communicating with clients & etc. - then this might be a good fit for you. Pay is $30/hour and up- based on experience. Full-time or part-time. Schedule must be set, but can be flexible around your needs. You would be working under a licensed contractor -pay is on the books. WANTED SKILLS OR QUALITIES Journeyman level carpentry skills This position requires working within a team in a safe, clean and organized manner. Good listening and communication skills Work collaboratively with others Strives for efficiency and quality Loves to teach and be a team player Adaptive, open-minded, and solution oriented attitude Knows the proper rough layouts for the other trades and subcontractors Has a vehicle and carpentry tools (journeyman level) Additional areas of special focus are considered a bonus; finish carpentry, landscaping design, site work, tile work, cabinetry, high-end trim/casing installation, flooring, dry-walling, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, etc. HOW TO APPLY If interested, simply email us a little about yourself.
