Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance & HVACR Technician to our Facilities Team! Our Facilities Team maintains our Store Support Center, keeping the premises and buildings clean and functioning properly. The Maintenance & HVACR Tech will have responsibility for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to building premises and warehouse equipment. They will work with a variety of systems related to the heating, ventilation, AC, and refrigeration of our Store Support Center. Responsibilities: - Performing repairs and replacing parts and components on warehouse equipment, such as conveyor wrappers, air compressors, among others - Providing welding and fabrication work - Maintaining and installing equipment and various components for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems - Testing and evaluating performance of equipment; repairs or replaces defective valves, thermostats, and other parts - Reading and interpreting blueprints and other drawings and diagrams Requirements: - Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades' work - Understanding of installation and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, construction, and electricity - Maintains current refrigeration usage certification - universal - Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and oral and written communications - Experience with basic repair of electrical and mechanical equipment Additional: This position does require the ability to respond to limited after-hours calls, with provided company cell phone.
