Are you looking for a unique way to add string pads/orchestral sounds onto your studio mix or live performance? I can create lush string sounds using an electric guitar, a cello bow and some guitar effects. I can also get super heavy overdriven guitar sounds with the bow. For recording, I have Pro-Tools and Logic. So a band, producer or artist can send me a song file and I can can record a string pad over it and just send you the stereo track to import into your studio mix. This method of creating string sounds is best suited for pads/chords and simple lines.
