KDM Steelworks is hiring hard working, honest and dependable employees. We are a continually growing steel company that delivers structural steel across the United States. The job of the forklift operator is to handle all of the material logistics and maintain the forklift fleet. This position requires unloading semi trucks, keeping necessary paperwork, loading the saw and punch operators, loading trucks of fabricated steel that is going to jobsites and moving steel out of the shop that needs to go into the yard or onto trucks. The employee needs to have experience loading fabricated material onto semi trucks, some of the trucks can be quite complex and it takes forward thinking to correctly load a semi truck with steel. Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be over 18 with a valid driver's license.
