We have immediate openings for RV technicians at our established shop in central Vancouver, WA. 40 hours per week; M-F; 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (half hour lunch). Competitive pay: Entry level (0 years - 1 year): $18 - $22/hour DOE Experienced technicians (1+ years and up): $23 - $30/hour DOE +PTO, sick pay, major holidays PTO, 1 week paid vacation (after 1 year of employment) About us: We are a small family business and that's part of what makes our business awesome! Instead of being just another number in a giant corporation, come join our family and enjoy a more personalized work experience. Our shop repairs RV cabins, we do not do any engine work here. We also perform a good amount of body/collision work. What's important to us: A good attitude and diligent work ethic. We're willing to train the right person, which is a great way to get your foot in the door and build a career out of it without having to shell out money for trade school. Bonus points if you have experience working as an RV technician! Position duties: Diagnosing RV issues (in the cabin of the RV, we do not service engines here) Repairing RV issues included but not limited to minor electrical work, resealing caulk, etc. Removing and replacing broken RV components Working in a safe manner Light paperwork (writing down parts numbers on customer part sheets & clocking the amount of time you spend on a job) Communicating in a clear & friendly way with coworkers (this is not a customer-facing position) Occasional washing of RVs Must be able to lift 30+ pounds, work on ladders, scissor lifts, and roofs, stand for the duration of the workday, and crawl/bend/work in small spaces.
