I'm an experienced non instrument playing Lead Singer/Front-Man & I'm seeking a Classic Rock band to join. I have a very flexible schedule, excellent pro gear, mature, punctual & I'm avail for 2 to 4 (possibly more) shows per month. What I'm seeking is very specific & NO I'm not starting a band I'm seeking an established outfit that either wants to add the lead vocals or replace an outgoing member. I'll as well consider a startup unit with a dynamic band leader/organizer that has a clear vision & plan. If in either case (established or start up) when you read this should we philosophically & musically line up then we should talk. I know this is a long shot but let's see. I absolutely no longer have the desire to run a band, I have the attributes, contacts, equipment, rehearsal studio but no longer do I wish to sit in the bosses chair & no matter how democratic a band is there's still got to be a boss. I will however if called upon offer up my advice & experience of 30 + years leading a band, a compare notes kind of thing if you wish. I can also help in a small degree with shows but I do not, will not be the "go to guy" for that. That's the bosses or booking agents job. I will be one of the best band mates ever because of all my time in the bosses chair so I know what helps & what hurts, that said for the most part I just want to be one of the guys, you say jump, I'll say how high. The only thing I absolutely have to have a MAJOR ROLE in is the songs. I can give you a large list of songs I can do & if y'all are already in that ballpark or want to be then we may be a match for one another.
