Seeking bass player with lead vocal for event band

Description

I run a wedding/event band which works sporadically. We got busy last fall and are not so busy now. When we do play, everyone makes very professional $. We do not rehearse a lot. Everyone prepares professionally (there's that word again). We have a guy leaving in the fall very amicably and I want to take my time finding the right person to work with us. We could use another solid lead vocalist to expand our versatility a little bit. Please do not reply if you do not own a car. The agencies do lean on us to get predominantly young people, but I think looking healthy is going to be as good as looking young. This is a hard-working band. We don't break much when we play. As the heading says, we have worked in the last year from NYC to DC. Most of us live close to Philly. Please send me a note if you are interested. If it is not informative then I won't bother replying. Please be informative about your life musically and otherwise. Please give me a sense of what you can do and what is on your plate currently. I work with folks who have other gigs, but I guess I'm trying to move forward with people who would treat my gigs with a priority since bass is such an important part of continuity. The above is a little bit stiff in attitude, but I'm not. We have a great group of folks (everyone says that), but truly we have never really had a personal problem between people in the band. Everyone gets the mission and works well together to make the results good. I also prefer someone who isn't too skittish about COVID. Some people go political with these things. I don't care for whom you vote. I just prefer to have people who would not skip a gig unless it was totally necessary, in terms of COVID. This is, fyi, a 10 piece band, with some really great performers. Thanks!
