Description
I have recently retired and I fix laptop PCs for hobby. No desktop computers - my wife won't allow bulky desktops in the house. Folks donate me their unwanted PCs (No Apple products), working or not, new or old, broken or not, I take them all. I fix them as many as I can, I buy parts (up to $25/PC) if needed to make them operable and then donate them to needy kids who can not afford computers. If the PC needs parts that cost me more than $25, I salvage parts for the use in some other computers. I erase all the data from the donated computers with the software that uses US DoD 5220.22-M (8-306/E) wipe method. So, if you have any such computer laying around, please donate it and put it to some good use. Give that computer a new life and help close the digital divide. Thanks
