We are a design / build shop that specializes in custom CNC projects working with a wide range of materials. We have been in business since 2013 and are growing. Therefore, we are looking to expand our core team with a CNC Operator / Art Fabricator in custom design fabrication and art installations. A CNC Operator / Art Fabricator is responsible for the set up, overseeing and operation of CNC routers, water jet, laser cutter and milling machines to cut various materials, such as; steel, aluminum, wood, plastic and foam. Additional operations that may be required include- welding, woodworking, construction, assembly, painting and finishing of various art works, sculptures and other fabricated products. Duties and Responsibilities: - Read and analyze the information provided on shop drawings to ensure the final product matches the draft - Perform tool setups on various CNC machinery - Operation of Water Jet, CNC routers, CNC milling machines and CNC laser cutter - Assist with the maintenance of machines when necessary - Assist with welding, woodworking, construction, assembly, painting and finishing when necessary - Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance - Handle materials, parts and tooling appropriately and safely Requirements: - 2 years min operating CNC machines required - Ability to understand various tooling and machining methods, as well as keep tools and materials organized - Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery - Follow production, safety, and quality procedures - Able to manage multiple work priorities in a fast paced environment - Highly organized and detail oriented - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Able to work both in a team environment as well as independently - High school diploma or equivalent Details: Base Rate - $18 and up based on experience Full Time, 8am - 4:30pm 1 Week paid vacation every calendar year 5 Paid Holiday (Starting after 60 days of employment) Medical Benefits (Optional after 60 days of employment)
