Description
One of the suspects identified and apprehended was Andrew Francis Morrow (the one who tried to elude the police by jumping into the Columbia River but quickly lost heart and let the police rescue and apprehend him). For those who may not know this, Andrew is a member of the local street gang, South Side Locos, going by the name "Cartoon," having the name "TOON" tattooed across his fist. The fact that neither he nor the other suspect, Benito Eduardo Licea, have been at least charged with attempted murder at this point is beyond me. Hopefully the Wenatchee Police Department, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, the Prosecutor's Office and the Chelan County Superior Court do a better job at permanently putting away these criminals than they've done in the past with their associates, Adolfo Israel Torres, Jesse William Pina, Kevin Gaona-Pina, and Gustavo Gaona-Pina. With the rise in gang-related activity in the area, Chelan County needs to implement far tougher legislation coupled with the handing out of stiffer and longer abiding penalties against known gang members and their affiliates. And instead of this restricting of the police via this woke bull****, cut them lose and let them descend upon the heads of people like this with deadly force and ferocity.
