DS Contracting, LLC is headquartered in Ocala, FL, is focused on new construction and renovation projects in the healthcare, K-12 and higher education, commercial and government market segments. We are seeking a General Laborer in Inverness who must have valid driver license and have the ability to pass a background check and drug test; Knowledge of construction and materials; Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds; OSHA 10 certification a plus. If you do not have it, we will pay for you to obtain. You will be responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site. The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following: • Cleaning and preparing construction sites, cleaning interior and exterior jobsite areas, working safe at all times, and providing exceptional customer service. • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans. • Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties, including, but not limited to removing debris and transporting materials to the appropriate place. You may be asked to travel to various job sites. Weekend and overnight work may be required. This is a full-time position offering medical benefits, PTO, holidays, 401(k) plus company match.
