The Davey Tree Expert Company is hiring!! Davey Tree has immediate openings. We have availability for entry level positions including Grounds person, Trimmers, and Foreman's. Foreman position overview and requirements: - Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for utility provider - Services provided include pruning tree tops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, and other objects - Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts - Directs crew members and equipment as well as planning and executing the assigned work and tasks - Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer in all needed work orders - Ability to perform all above mentioned functions - must be capable of following instructions in set order Trimmer overview and requirements: - Services provided include pruning tree tops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roof, and other objects - Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts - Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Foreman in all needed work orders - Ability to perform all above mentioned functions - must be capable of following instructions in set order Grounds person ( entry level) overview and requirements: - Provides support for the other crew members by controlling lowering ropes, limbs and persons aloft - Assist in daily task as setting up jobsite, trucks and other equipment as needed - supplying tools and equipment to trimmers aloft ( bucket or climbing) - Controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods - Cutting, chipping and loading brush and wood and proper job site clean up - Willingness to learn other job tasks including, aerial lift, trimming, chainsaw handling, roping. Requirements for all above positions: - CDL preferred but not required - Drivers license or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of employment - Capability of working in all different environments and conditions such as rural areas, city, heat, rain, and cold weather - able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on feet for long periods of time - Must be able to pass a drug screen Additional information: -Full time hourly position - Permanent - Weekly overtime available - compensation based on experience - 401 K - Davey stock option after 1 year of employment If interested in starting a career and learning the industry call Kyle Ricks for more information.
