Horse farm in Boalsburg, 3 miles from PSU, needs full and/or part time general farm labor for feeding, grounds and fence maintenance, minor construction jobs. Skills required: person must be mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools and machines like air compressors, pressure washers, generators, and chain saw as well as hand and power tools. One day we might rebuild and hang a barn door or fence gates and the next grate and landscape a driveway, or clear away storm damage. No two days will be the same! Common sense around animals a must and you will need to be physically fit for this job. Stalls are cleaned with a skid steer and bales are 500 pounds or more and stacked with a tractor. If you like working outside around animals, enjoy using your hands AND your head, and take pride in your work, this job might be a good fit for you.
