Description:
Join Maine Montessori Association on Friday, May 20th at 9am for an opportunity to meet with Tara Williams, Executive Director of Maine AEYC, to discuss ways in which Montessori school leaders can collaborate and work toward shared advocacy goals for early childhood in Maine. We will open up with a look at the current landscape of early childhood in Maine and identify areas that seem most urgent for Montessori school leaders, as well as discuss ways we can bring our voices together to advocate for public policies that support Montessori families and teachers in our communities.
We will break for lunch at 11:30am and resume at 1:00pm for a follow up conversation about the AMS conference in Boston and finalize details for the August 2022 MMA teacher workshop and assistant teacher training. All are welcome to join us for lunch at the Broad Arrow Tavern at the Harraseeket Inn and the afternoon portion of the day which should conclude by 3pm.
