Description We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join the NY Fulfillment Center team as a Fulfillment Center Lead, which will primarily oversee our refurbishment and repair operations, own and implement the standard operating procedures, and strategize in achieving department goals. This position will report to the Fulfillment Center Manager. About Us: At Feather, our mission is to transform people's relationship with material goods to create a healthier and happier planet. By giving people smarter options, Feather is able to keep more furniture in homes and out of landfills. What You’ll Be Doing: Direct warehouse staff and carry out core Fulfillment Center processes. Provide training and support to fulfillment center associates Inbound receiving, labeling, and stocking of new items Inbound receiving of items reclaimed from customers Intensive cleaning and repair of reclaimed items Picking, staging, and assembly of items to be delivered to customers Loading and unloading of trucks in collaboration with Delivery teams Labor planning and project management Using existing and implementing reporting tools and data to make data-driven decisions Create and keep documentation of procedures and systems Assisting facility management in over productivity of the warehouse Communicating with various departments within the organization These currently include the following (but may evolve): Requirements The Ideal Candidate: While no one person will embody all of the qualities enumerated below, the ideal candidate will possess many of the following professional and personal abilities, attributes, and experiences.
