PARKVIEW FULL-TIME BUILDING/GROUNDS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION . JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY A full-time Maintenance Technician who is self-motivated, dependable, honest, with property maintenance skills that can work independently and takes pride in a job well done. This is a full-time position which requires a 5 day work week. JOB COMPENSATION: Starting salary $25.00 per hour with an on- call differential. This position includes: paid sick leave, and paid vacation time. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following: Addressing and resolving basic general building maintenance issues required to maintain the interior and exterior of our buildings and grounds. Maintaining the cleanliness of our buildings and grounds, assisting in trash removal and cleaning duties when assigned. Must have or be willing to obtain a Massachusetts Pool Operators Certificate. Assisting in snow removal and sanding of walkways, stairs, and parking lots when assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS High School diploma or GED, able to read, write and speak English fluently. Experience and competency in all aspects of residential building maintenance. Experience is important, but we are willing to invest in some training in certain areas of this position. Capable of performing manual labor and able to lift 50 pounds of weight. Must be able to pass a CORI/Background check. Must be willing to be on-call for a limited amount of time for emergencies, during evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
