In celebration of Women's Health Month - CIS & Iberia Medical Center are hosting a Women's Cardiac Wellness Social Heart disease is the number one killer of women each year. Yet, many women do not understand their risk or realize how heart disease looks and feels different in women. Cardiovascular Institute of the South & Iberia Medical Center understand the importance of awareness, prevention and education for women and heart disease. That’s why we are proud to host our Women’s Cardiac Wellness Social on Thursday, May 19th in honor of Women’s Health Month. Join us in the lobby of CIS New Iberia (500 N Lewis St. Suite 100) at 5:30 p.m. for an educational social that aims to encourage women to get informed about their heart health. This FREE event will include a panel of CIS & IMC providers and wellness experts, a Q&A session, heart-healthy appetizers, wine, games, door prizes, and more.
