Description

The Louisiana Region of the American Red Cross presents Sheltering Training for Volunteers. Home is where the heart is. When our neighbors can’t be in their home, we need volunteers with big hearts. The roles in a shelter include vital tasks that assist with greeting clients, completing registration, serving meals and snacks, and working as a team to help those we serve. Learn how you can help. Together we will provide disaster relief during large scale events that affect the residents of Louisiana as well as provides preparedness outreach to help in the prevention of local disasters.
