Every type of writing is a world of its own, a creation and therefore creative, whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, or poetry – or a blog post, family Christmas letter, or cookbook. Come to Palisade, Colorado and join fellow word lovers at a day-and-a-half Creativity Retreat for Writers, June 17-18, 2022. This is a welcoming space for any level writer and any type of writing. Unearth what inspires you. Discover how to tap more deeply into that creative center. Finetune your creativity and then paint it into your writing life. Retreat from daily life and focus on YOU. Invest in yourself, your creativity, and your writing. During this Creativity Retreat for Writers, you’ll step outside the writing box by exploring a variety of creative pursuits, moments, and methods for tapping into your creative core. You’ll create. You’ll write. We’ll share what we write. You’ll leave with a refreshed mind percolating with new ideas and fresh perspectives, and a notebook full of creative inspiration and writings created during our time together. You’ll also leave with a written framework for incorporating creativity into your writing process and a plan to make real progress with your writing projects. Visit the website for even more details.Details at a Glance How many: Space limited to 10 total participants When: Friday, June 17 8:30 am through Saturday, June 18 at noon Where: The Wine Country Inn in Palisade, Colorado Included: Friday: coffee and tea throughout the day, bottled water, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner on your own, and a complimentary wine tasting from 5-6 pm; Saturday: hot breakfast, coffee, and tea; Orchard Room meeting space. You bring: writing utensils, a journal or other notebook you love, any piece of writing you may want to work on (not required!). Accommodations: A bank of ten rooms** is on hold until May 5, 2022. A special rate has been secured for attendees at $165 for Friday night, June 17. **Just added: a few rooms for June 16 for those that want to stay that night, at a reduced rate of $145.
