I know at times there are situations that can't be helped but there are Way too many kittens popping up everywhere needing homes, too many for them to be accidental or unpreventable situations. PLEASE stop letting cats breed when there are already way too many cats needing homes for dire situations, like their old owner died. Older cats can't find homes if every other post is about another litter of kittens. Metro East Humane Society has a program for low income families, call them Please and get your pets fixed asap. I'm sure there are other places that have rescues/shelters or a program for spaying/neutering, just research it or ask a vet clinic. I'm sure this message won't last long but if even one person reads it, then it did it's purpose. Give older cats a chance to find a home later by preventing more kittens from being born in an already overpopulated world. There are simply not enough humans to house every cat/kitten needing a home and you're not helping if you're letting cats breed.
