What is Sound Beginnings? Come to a 3-day preview class to find out! We will sing, play, dance, learn, play instruments & have lots of fun! Sound Beginnings is for children age 0-4 and a loving parent or caregiver. We focus on letters and their sounds (and signs), name recognition, telling time, calendars, counting, weather and more. We learn solfege, play instruments, teach in-tune singing, experience classical pieces, identify timbre, introduce the staff & scales, distinguish high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, and more! We examine feelings & appropriate responses, learn manners, practice taking turns, encourage helping, and more. You can really get a feel for how this class works and how your child will respond to it by attending this 3-session preview class, which incorporates activities and songs from all 6 semesters of Sound Beginnings. Tuition is $25, unless you have a friend sign up as well. Then it's only $15 for you and $15 for your friend! Tuition is due upon enrollment via Venmo (@musikandme). This class is 30 minutes, and will be taught once a week for 3 weeks. I will be available after class to answer questions and help you get registered for the next full semester if you decide this class is what you are looking for! No pressure, just music, fun, and play!
