Itinerary:DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN SALT LAKE CITY AND WALK AROUND THE TOWN Arrival in Salt Lake City. We’ll meet at the hotel in Salt Lake City, get to know one another, and have a walk around the city. We’ll take a stroll around the main streets and pay a visit to the Capitol, which is strikingly similar to Washington’s, where we’ll watch the sunset and take in the panorama of the city. A night in a hotel. DAY 2 - CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK Early departure from Salt Lake City. Today we’re visiting Capitol Reef National Park. We’ll drive along the scenic road, stop at viewpoints, and go on several hikes. A night in a hotel. DAY 3 - MONUMENT VALLEY AND THE LOST ROADS OF THE COLORADO PLATEAU The longest day of the trip: early departure and late arrival. On this day, we’ll travel across the Colorado Plateau on small roads that conceal incredible natural formations, arches, and canyons. We’ll be stopping frequently for photos and hikes 😉 At sunset, we’ll pay a visit to the fabled Monument Valley. We’ll spend the night in a small town in Colorado. A night in a hotel. DAY 4 - ARCHES AND MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARKS In the morning, we’ll go to Mesa Verde National Park, where the Pueblo Indian cities have been preserved in the inaccessible and almost invisible canyon’s rocks. These tribes were called cliff dwellers. It is unknown why they left their homes but the view is fantastic! We’ll then proceed to Arches Park. We’ll see a variety of different types of rocks here. As the name implies, the park’s distinctive feature is a multitude of natural arches caused by weathering of softer sandstone rocks. There are huge mushrooms, an ocean liner, and even a contemplative Satan among the arches. A night in a hotel. DAY 5 - CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK We will visit Canyonlands National Park. It has many stunning viewpoints, including Dead Horse View, Candlestick Tower, and Grand View. We will make a few stops before heading back to Salt Lake City. The estimated time of arrival is 7 pm. Tips for guides are appreciated. ❗️ We will do our best to stick to the schedule above, but the route and order of sightseeing and hiking can be changed at any time by the guide for reasons beyond our control.
