Positions: Event Security / Event Staff Location: Austin, TX Pay Rate: $15hr-$18hr NLS is looking for both event security and various event staffing positions for various events throughout the year. Full time & Part time positions available starting May 1st. Essential Functions ● Appear on post in accordance with uniform requirements and fitness for duty. ● Maintain awareness at all times. ● Remain well-informed of security orders, and procedures at all times. ● Stand post as a deterrent to any person seeking access controlled area ● Take reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visiting personnel, and client assets. ● Observe and monitor the actions of persons considering entering the secured area. ● Report to management all unusual or suspicious activity. ● Seek supervisory input when necessary ● Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors with courtesy and professionalism. ● Other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications ● High School Diploma or GED ● Must be at least 18 years of age. ● U.S. citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident ● Must be able to perform all functions of the job. ● Must demonstrate ability to learn operations and procedures. ● Must be able to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form. ● Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance. ● Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives.
