Automotive Technician Requirements • previous automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience. • Have the tools necessary to perform automotive repairs and diagnosis • valid driver’s license. Techs responsibilities include: • Repair and overhaul automobiles, vans, trucks, and other automotive vehicles. • Diagnose and examine various systems, including but not limited to: electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, suspension etc. and discuss with service advisor the nature and extent of damage or malfunction. • Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair, and replace units such as engines, transmissions, and differentials as required. • Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrumental panels. • Reline and adjust brakes, align front ends, and repair or replace shock absorbers. • Replace and adjust headlights and install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers. • Road test vehicles as needed before and/or after repair. • Maintain a clean work environment Job Type – Hours • Full-time:  Monday-Friday (7 am to 6 pm)  Saturday (7 am to 4:30 pm)
