ALL NEW + EXPECTING MOMS, JOIN US ON MAY 4TH FOR A WOMEN’S HEALTH PANEL WITH METHODIST DALLAS EXPERTS AS THEY GIVE TIPS ON MOTHERHOOD! Mother’s Day is right around the corner which is why we have partnered with Methodist Dallas Medical Center to bring you a health panel for new or expecting moms! Join us on May 4th from 6pm-8pm for our in-person event at Wow Wow Lemonade in Bishop Arts to hear from female doctors from Methodist Dallas on tips & tricks on navigating the waters of becoming a new mom! PANEL DETAILS The topic of this in-person panel event is to encourage and support expecting or new moms and provide insightful guidance. Covid took a toll on a lot of people, but bringing a child into the world during that time or being pregnant faced even more complications. Many moms have expressed that they felt isolated and overwhelmed, and we hope that this panel will leave you feeling like you are not alone! Did you know that nearly 1 in 10 women experience postpartum depression after child birth? Dr. Patton and Dr. Knickerbocker will share what they commonly see with patients, how the pandemic impacted our bodies' health, and what tips and tricks can help all expecting and new mammas. This panel will be a judgment-free zone and we hope that hosting in person encourages attendance and a positive, face to face, comfortable experience for all! There will be a Q&A at the end. Diaper Concierge will also be popping-up at the event, so stop by their table to hear more about their diaper vending machines throughout DFW and hope they are making parents' lives easier! WOW WOW HAWAIIAN LEMONADE After planting their roots on the island of Oahu, Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade was born in 2012 at farmers and night markets all around the island. In just a few years they had expanded beyond a lemonade stand on Maui to a thriving concept on the mainland and internationally. They recently opened in Bishop Arts and we are excited to welcome them to the area and enjo, Wow Wow offers a variety of fresh & health foods from acai bowls to smoothies to toasts & sandwiches. We strongly encourage everyone to try their delicious drinks or food before or after the panel! RSVP This is a free event but you must register. Seating is on a first come first serve basis, so make sure to arrive early to get a good spot.
