FREE DESSERT FOR ALL DONATING Hi, my name is Maria Lopez, I have joined Together We Rise and created a fundraiser to help Foster Teens. Together We Rise is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals like me fundraise to support foster youth, with our help we give them the opportunity to put their belongings in duffle bags instead of trash bags when moving into a home. I decided to join them because at the ages of six through eight I was in foster care and it was not easy, which is why I understand that as a teenager it cannot be any easier. I want to make a difference and give them duffle bags with items that are essential for them and somewhere where they can comfortably put their belongings. I am asking for your support. Thanks to the help of friends and family I was able to complete my fundraiser goal to get the duffle bags. I have teamed up with Santee United Methodist Church. We will be hosting this event together and will appreciate it a lot if you join us and donate new essential items to put in their duffle bags. With your support we will be matched with a local foster care agency so that we can help the children in our community. Thank you for your consideration.
