Innovation Series 2: Flux Marine In an effort to support the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with Innovate Newport to offer this 6-session BlueTech Innovation Series. During this spring 2022, the BlueTech Innovation Series brings together Rhode Island’s leading startup companies focused on “blue” technologies to network and showcase their cutting edge technologies. Each week, a different company will showcase their work, with time to network following their presentation. This week features Flux Marine, which is creating a better boating experience through an innovative approach to electrification. The company designs, builds, and markets outboard electric propulsion systems and fully-electric boat packages. The ground-up design approach eliminates the need for maintenance and winterization while offering more power and excitement over gas counterparts.
