The 12-week HE[ART]LAND Fellowship comes to an end with this final performance blending comedy, drama, music, and education on public policy
When this program started 12 weeks ago, Marley, Nat, Jerry, Wyatt, and Clotilda were all relative strangers, each with different talents, but a shared passion about improving Kansas City.
Since then, they've partnered with local organizations like the Housing Authority of Kansas City, The Greater Kansas City Coalition to End Homelessness, and Artists Helping the Homeless to learn about Public Policy, connect with the community, and of course, create original performances.
Our first performance took place in a church basement. Our second grew to a rec-center gym. For our final performance we're in the Robert J Mohart auditorium– a beautiful theatre located in Kansas City.
Come join us in celebration of the work our artists have done.
Admission is FREE, however a $15 donation is recommended either through eventbrite or through Venmo: @heartlandartskc. Because this event takes place in a municipal building, no donations are allowed on-site, so please make any donations prior to arrival.
Doors open at 4:00
Performance begins at 4:30
Talk-back begins immediately after the performance.
Hope to see you there!
