MANSFIELD, MA — A dominant Division 2 Super Bowl effort earned a triumphant hero's welcome back home Friday night as the Mansfield High football team rolled to a 41-0 victory at Gillette Stadium against Lincoln-Sudbury. It is Mansfield's eighth Super Bowl title since 1992 with the players receiving a police escort back from Foxboro.

Nick Marciano then made it a two-TD lead with a 3-yard scoring run. Vinnie Holmes then stretched the lead to three scores with the first of his three rushing TDs of the day following a Nick Bertolino interception.
Up 21-0 at the half, the Hornets rolled through the final 24 minutes with two more Holmes touchdowns and one from Ethan Thevenot. The final 10 minutes of the game were playing with running time before the Hornets were able to officially celebrate their 12-1 season and Super Bowl crown.
