Sensys Networks has a challenging opportunity for a proven inventory control and shipping/receiving clerk. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player who will perform their duties efficiently and accurately, with outstanding customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities: • Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner • Package and prepare materials for both domestic and international shipments • Create, file, distribute, etc. all paperwork pertaining to operation of the shipping/receiving/inspection function • Initiate and coordinate all necessary arrangements for shipping with carriers; work with carriers to resolve shipment delivery disruptions • Perform shipping/receiving and material transactions in Accounting and Manufacturing Systems • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom • Perform cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods as requested • Scan and record sensor product test results • Clean and maintain a safe working environment • Ensure all work procedures and safety regulations are followed • All other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications: • Minimum three years related experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving • Experience with Bills of Lading, Air Way Bills, SLI’s, SED’s and generating packing lists and commercial invoices • Experience shipping hazardous materials a plus • Attention to detail and highly proficient data entry • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously • Strong computer skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office • Excellent written and oral communication skills Physical Requirements: • Bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift • Use computer and other office equipment • Utilize hand tools, operate material handling equipment (pallet jack) • Must have valid California Driver’s License and be willing to drive local distances (>20 miles) Education: High School Diploma
