Shop Helper Duties:
- Unloading and unboxing customer parts
- Setting up and tearing down job orders, preparing parts for heat treatment (huge variety of part sizes and materials, the parts could fit in the palm of your hand or be 6 foot bars, and/or weigh 30+ pounds) this frequently includes lots of repetitious movements
- Basic maintenance tasks including sweeping, cleaning, sanitizing, etc.
- Using glass bead machine to clean debris off of parts (safety training done prior to use of ALL equipment)
- Assisting with Shipping & Receiving, including operating forklift to move pallets, boxing up parts for shipment, counting and weighing parts
- Moving parts from one area of shop facility to another
This role is in SUNNYVALE, CA
The schedule is a 40 hour Monday through Friday work week - Flexibility around hours (start time flexibility)
This client will allow individual to direct their career growth. IF they want to do the same task over and over again, they can OR if they are looking to become a supervisor and foreman, that is available to them as well!
Starting Pay Rate is $20/hour
