Enjoy an immersive audio-visual installation featuring generative projections and music inspired by nature. Appealing to art and environment enthusiasts alike, DO WE CONTROL NATURE? by visual artist and music composer, Jose Veliz, brings viewers through an exploration of the effect humans have on nature as presented through an interactive audiovisual projection. The exhibition will utilize art, light, and sound to experience nature in a new way. Individuals interacting with the installation will question the depth of control they have against what is generated outside of their power, echoing the evolutionary give-and-take relationship humans have with nature. Spectators will have the opportunity to blend, move, and shape the four different elements of nature: earth, water, air, and fire, throughout the exhibit. Meet and greet the artist April 22 and April 23 from 6-9pm Event presented with support from Broward Cultural Division, Mad Arts, FIU Libraries, and FIU Ratcliffe Art+Design Incubator.
